It is not just a great day, but a great year to be a lion! McKinzey is blessed to have our Principal - Mrs. Kathryn Humer, 7th grade Assistant Principal - Mr. Hicham Jennane, and 8th grade Assistant Principal - Ms. Janet Webster. Please take time to get to know a little about them below:
Mrs. Kathryn Humer: I am excited to start my 1st full year at McKinzey MS. This will be year 21 for me. I began as a Math Teacher and Coach in Northwest ISD for 10 years. After teaching for 10 years I moved to an academic coaching role and then into AP and now Principal. I am married with 2 boys. When I am not at school spending time with family and relaxing. We love to travel and camp.
Mr. Hicham Jennane: To the esteemed Mckinzey MS community, I am honored to make your acquaintance as the Assistant Principal for the forthcoming academic year of 2023-2024. My name is Hicham Jennane, and I am pleased to join the Golden Lions Team. With a distinguished career spanning 27 years in the education sector, I have served as an Educator, Department Chair, and Assistant Principal in Heb ISD and Mansfield ISD, accomplishments that I hold in high esteem. I am a graduate of Hassan II University with a I hold a bachelor's degree in French language and literature which I obtained from Morocco, and a master's degree in Curriculum Development and Professional Development which I earned from Drake University in Iowa. It is with great enthusiasm that I take on the responsibility of serving our students and community, and I am eager to contribute to their academic achievements. I express my sincerest gratitude for the warm welcome extended to me, and I am excited to embark on this journey with each and every one of you.
Ms. Janet Webster: Greetings Charlene McKinzey Middle School Family!
I'm Janet M. Webster, your super excited Assistant Principal for the 2023- 2024 school year. As a native of Dallas, Texas and educator of 23 years, I have served students as an instructional leader in Dallas ISD and Duncanville ISD in the following roles: teacher, instructional coach and curriculum developer. As a proud graduate of Prairie View A&M University, I look forward to continuous growth as professional, leader, and loyal stakeholder to our entire learning community. I humbly, accept the task of serving as an instructional leader toward our Vision 2030 goals.
