Back to school information for McKinzey Middle School has been finalized for the upcoming school term. Please refer to the sections below for the latest information.

2021-22 Registration Information

Registration will take place online starting May 1, 2021 for new students. Students who are new to the district must start the enrollment process online. After completing the online portion, you will be contacted to complete any other steps necessary.

Parents can submit proof of residency documents electronically to McKinzey_POR@misdmail.org or in person starting Tuesday, June 1, 2021. View approved forms of POR here.

Office hours are 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. (The office is closed on Fridays starting June 11 - July 30 and will be closed the entire week of July 5-9.)

We will offer an extended registration/enrollment period on Thursday, August 5 from 8:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. for any families who were unable to attend during regular in-person registration hours or for those who were unable to complete registration online.
 

2021-22 Schedule Pickup

Schedule pickup will be held on Thursday, Aug. 12 for all McKinzey students. Proof of residency, updated immunizations (7th graders only) and online student registration is required to pick up student schedules.

• Non-STEM students – 4:30 p.m.- 6:00 p.m.
• STEM Academy students – 6:15 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

2021-22 New Student Orientation

McKinzey Lion Camp, an orientation for all students attending McKinzey MS in the fall, will be held in person on Thursday, Aug. 5 at the new campus. Students will get a chance to meet classmates, tour the building and start building relationships through teamwork. Pre-registration is required, and students must provide their own transportation to and from Lion Camp.

• 7th Grade Camp – 9:00 a.m. -11:30 a.m.
• 8th Grade Camp – 1:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.

2021-22 Meet the Teacher Nights

Students and parents will have an opportunity to meet their teachers on Aug. 30, 2021 from 5:30 - 7:00 pm.
